POSITION SUMMARY
Provides overall leadership in accomplishing the contract mission by developing the mission and vision for the organization under broad guidance from the CEO of Centerra and the Vice President of DOE Operations of Constellis. Integrates business and security functions into effective and efficient operation. Establishes and maintains effective business relationships with client, local community and business leaders, union representatives, employees, and other internal and external contacts. Fosters total quality by actively promoting total quality principles in personal behavior, business operations, and interpersonal relations. Fosters environmental awareness and safety by actively promoting environmental awareness and safety practices in personal behavior and business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as primary liaison with local client representatives - Identifies and satisfies customer needs; translates customer requirements into action. Maintains contact with senior level client representatives. Schedules customer service visits. Communicates changes and issues and makes suggestions for problem resolution to senior management or to client representatives. Maintains contact with action officer. Contacts officers across various departments. Monitors and informs company personnel of client concerns. Resolves concerns and identifies client focus. Serves on program planning committees.
- Oversees company operations- Develops long term and short term goals and objectives. Integrates programs for effective and efficient accomplishment of company goals and objectives. Investigates and mediates inter-organizational and program conflicts. Revises organization structure as necessary. Plans for and assesses use of resources, including personnel, facilities, and monies. Develops or directs development of measurements to determine effectiveness of company operations. Establishes policies, goals and objectives, and plans for company; makes modifications to conform to changes in customer requirements, budget changes, and other changes.
- Establishes effective business relationships with internal and external contacts -Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with other site contractors, local community and business leaders, union representatives, corporate, employees, and applicable government agencies. Participates in community activities and oversees form of company charitable contributions. Provides advice and assistance to other Wackenhut components.
- Provides overall leadership to employees to ensure their welfare and successful performance - Develops or directs development of programs to ensure effective acquisition, development, motivation, reward, measurement, and utilization of personnel. Maintains open communications to ensure continuous flow of factual, timely information to employees and to address employee concerns; conducts employee communication sessions. Oversees resolution of personnel issues; intervenes in extreme situations. Ensures compliance with applicable employment laws. Develops programs to provide career development and job enrichment, such as leadership development, mentoring, and leadership forum
- Develops mission and vision - Defines broad mission requirements and redefines as necessary to meet changing mission.
- Provides leadership to direct reports - Establishes individual performance goals and objectives, professional development plans, salary administration, classification, and other employee status changes.

QUALIFICATIONS
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD TS or DOE Q level clearance.
- Bachelor' degree in Business, Public Administration, or relevent securituy field.
- Fifteen years of experience directing a large or functionally diverse security or military organization, or directing several departments or units in a security operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Twenty years or more of experience directing a large, functionally diverse security or military organization.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business core work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
