Job Description: Facilities Technician Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of two to three years experience in general building maintenance, repair and light construction. Summary of Job: Requires basic knowledge and ability to perform light construction, plumbing, electrical, building repair, painting and general maintenance Must be able to operate personal computers using various software Must have a valid Indiana driver’s license Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities for: NONE-This job title does not supervise others Construct, install, inspect and perform general repairs and maintenance to Centerstone buildings and properties Complete regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities Repair and assemble office furniture Move furniture and offices when needed Complete regularly scheduled inspections of Centerstone vehicles and buildings Maintain records of all inspections Handle work orders timely, efficiently and courteously Enter information into work order system timely Be available for duty on a rotating basis for after-hours emergency calls Job Requirements: Maintains a positive and collaborative relationship with other Facilities staff and assists as needed Works independently, with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks Regular and reliable attendance is required Perform routine maintenance, repairs and clean up efficiently and professionally Communicates with supervisor regarding repair problems daily Completes work orders satisfactorily Other Duties and Responsibilities: All other duties as assigned.
