Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement evidence based Substance Abuse Prevention curriculum in classroom settings in grades 6-8 in Hickman and Maury Counties in Tennessee.  Follow program procedures and policies.  Serve as a liaison for participating schools and for other community organization.  In this role, you are required to working directly with school administration, students, and parents.  This is a 10-month position.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Bachelors degree in psychology, social services, or related field
Knowledge of curricula facilitation strategies, public speaking, excellent organizational, communications and writing skills, creative problem solving, ability to coordinate multiple tasks, and familiarity with Microsoft office programs.
Ability to be self-directed, to work with a team, motivate others and value cultural differences.
Must provide transportation within a large geographic area and be flexible as to daily work hours
