Come Build Your Career Under OUR Roof Job Description: Job Description: Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing direction, coordination and support for the daily execution of the maintenance department’s operating plan with the primary objective of maintaining the Plant’s equipment and facilities. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ● Supervises all assigned maintenance personnel in the execution of their daily work to ensure the production line achieves objectives. Includes scheduling, payroll processing, and performance management including coaching and counseling. ● Develop and maintain a sustainable system for the training, evaluation, and development of technicians to meet the plant’s needs, to include providing regular performance feedback. ● Develop and implement Maintenance department operating procedures. ● Directs and coordinates design, construction, and maintenance of equipment and machinery. ● Initiate and manage all capital projects. Prepares requests for capital (AFCEs) and ensures projects are completed in a timely manner. ● Champion the Plant’s “High Performance Maintenance Plan” by developing a sustainable system for scheduling and executing work plans, audits, continuous improvement and preventive and predictive maintenance programs. ● Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations. ● Ensures compliance with all industry and company standard safety practices. ● Responsible for Plant Facility management and all projects required to maintain the facilities and grounds. ● Coordinate with production and others on new products and machine and facility upgrades. ● Support and drive Process Improvement, Employee Involvement, and Safety. ● Inspect the plant’s electrical & mechanical systems for functionality. ● Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities. ● Monitor and Manage Maintenance Department budget, plant equipment inventory, plant inventory control and all department ordering. ● Manage relationships with plant contractors. Oversee all contractor activity in the plant. ● On-call during production hours to assist in troubleshooting needs. ● Perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience with the following: ● Allen Bradley Drives and PLC’s ● PLC Programming ● Control Loops ● Sensors (temperature, pressure, proximity, limit, laser) ● Wonderware SCADA Interface ● Electric Motors ● 480, Three Phase Power ● Wiring Diagrams ● Fluid Pumps and Pump Curves ● Bearings ● Welding ● Laser Alignment ● Vibration Analysis ● HVAC ● Chillers ● Hot oil systems ● Variable Frequency Drives ● Health and Safety Regulations including Arc Flash ● Reliability and PDM Practices ● Lubrication Requirements: ● A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred). ● Supervisor / Management level experience ● Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirement for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status Preferred Qualifications: ● 5 years of demonstrated maintenance engineering experience and at least 2 years of demonstrated supervisory experience with proven leadership and team-building skills in a manufacturing setting. ● We are looking for someone who is organized, flexible, and an excellent communicator.
