About The Role
Centr is looking for an Associate Creative Director Art to play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s visual identity and story.
Who Are You?
You’re a player and a coach. Able to high level art direct, concept, plan, and interact confidently with management & partners. Also nimble enough to adjust a logo, execute a quick design, build a deck, and photoshop a comp.
Beyond anything, you’re versatile, willing, and ambitious.
What You’ll Do
You’ll support Centr’s multi faceted business – digital subscriptions, physical equipment, and the fitness competition space.
You’ll deliver compelling and innovative visual direction that resonates with a fitness-first audience. From spearheading photo and video shoots, developing product and packaging style guides, leading in-app branding, to campaign concepting and executing – you’ll touch it all.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop innovative and creative concepts for projects.
- Provide art direction and oversight for visual elements of campaigns, ensuring they align with the overall creative vision.
- Manage designers and artist resources, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high quality and consistency in all visual materials.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continually improve and evolve our creative output.
- Work closely with other departments, including sales, creative, and digital, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Help to cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Graphic Design, Marketing or related field.
- 6-7 years experience in a creative role, in-house or agency.
- A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in concepting, art direction, and visual design – both in physical goods and digital.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Exceptional visual storytelling abilities.
- Highly strategic with strong concepting skills
- Tapped into culture, with a finger on the pulse of design trends.
- Strong understanding of social, digital, video, and retail platforms (including product packaging).
- Experience leading photo & video shoots – from concept to post production.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Can thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects across multiple mediums with tight deadlines.
- Self-starter, who has the initiative to bring structure and clarity to the creative process.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools.
- Bonus: a passion for health x wellness x tech and a genuine interest in helping people lead healthier lives.
- Bonus: motion and animation skills.
