By joining the St. Cloud Hospital Neuroscience Spine Unit as a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work with a team of dedicated neuroscience trained staff providing quality, compassionate, and safe patient care. We have a 45-bed unit consisting of 8 Neuro Progressive Care Unit beds and 37 general neuroscience patient rooms. The Neuroscience Spine Unit is a specialty unit designed to care for both pre/post-surgical and medical patient care within the Neurosciences specialty. We treat patients with Neurosurgical, Neuro-interventional, Neuro-medical diseases and disorders. In addition, we serve patients with the following diagnoses: stroke, seizure, multiple traumas, traumatic brain injuries, and others associated with the brain or spine. The Neuroscience Spine Unit has been awarded certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center based on our strong commitment to providing evidence-based, quality stroke care throughout the stroke patient care continuum. Our staff practice within the team nursing model and consider teamwork our greatest strength in providing safe, quality, and compassionate patient care.
Schedule:
- We offer a variety of 8 and 12-hour schedules with various weekend rotations, and rotating holidays.
- To support your personal and professional life, we offer self-scheduling with a variety of weekend patterns to choose from
- Positions ranging from 32-80 hours per 2-week period.
Pay:
- $2,500 Sign on bonus and benefits!
- Starting pay $20.00, however, we pay more for experience!
- We offer evening, night, and weekend shift differentials.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing and Minnesota LPN license required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.

To be eligible for the Sign-on Bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
To be eligible for Relocation Assistance, you must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last nine months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it. Paid out less taxes.
CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to, Sign-On and Relocation Bonuses may be discontinued at any time due to business needs. Any offer received after 10/14/22 will not be eligible for accelerated temporary rates.
