Position Details:
- Part-Time position
- Working 60 hours every two weeks
- Shifts vary between 10a.m.-10:30p.m
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
- Holiday rotation
Current Offerings:
- Pay rate based on experience with a minimum rate of $20.28

Job Summary:
Under the direction of a qualified professional nurse, participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care according to applicable standards, guidelines and regulations within the parameters of his or her preparation.
As a LPN, here are a few of the Core Function you can expect:
- Provides personal care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of each individual patient as directed.
- Assists in collection of data.
- Assists with lifting, turning, moving, repositioning, and transporting of patients from one position or area to another using proper procedures.
- Be familiar with equipment related to responsibilities in the department.
- Demonstrates aseptic and sterile technique. Practice infection control precautions and provides for a safe environment.
- Participates and promote teamwork while providing patient car services and other department functions.
- Answering of call lights.
- Welcomes patients/families in a courteous, caring manner, escorting and assisting them as needed.
- Turn over rooms after patient discharge.
- Stock supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Possesses the ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders, and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff.

- 25-bed critical access hospital including Birthing Center, Medical/Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, ICU, and Same Day Surgery Services.
- 10-bed Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.
- Extensive Outpatient Services: Level IV Emergency Department with ambulance service, Heart Care, Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Diabetes & Nutrition Education, Integrated Behavioral Health, Vascular Care, and Wound Care.
- Full Imaging, Laboratory Services, and Respiratory Therapy.
- 89-bed Extended Care Facility
