Central Pet is seeking a Sales Support Assistant to join our sales team within the Pet Distribution segment. The candidate will be an initiative-taking and self-managing individual who is able to support the sales team in the dynamic nature of the pet specialty trade channel.A

The role is a remote, home-office based position providing support to the National Sales Coordinator as well as a national sales department. Strong computer and multi-tasking skills required. Position will include but not be limited to providing reports, pricing files and sales meeting materials among other responsibilities. Candidate must be flexible as a support team member for multi time zone company; possessing the ability to manage daily timelines and adhere to the time sensitive nature of the deliverables that are assigned.

A*A A A A A A A Developing and executing sales support for omni channel sales (independent retailers, muti-unit retailers, regional pet chains, national pet specialty retailers).

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
A*A A A A A A A BS/BA Degree preferred in a business, mathematics discipline or equivalent experience.aaaa
A*A A A A A A A 5 years of administrative or sales support experience, with skills that will aid and support a sales team.
A*A A A A A A A Experience in a variety of computer programs and platforms.
A*A A A A A A A Understanding of pricing and sales processes and protocols.
A*A A A A A A A Strong original, creative thinker, analytical and detailed oriented individual.
A*A A A A A A A Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to specific individuals and to deliver first class sales support.
A*A A A A A A A Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
A*A A A A A A A Strong Microsoft Office Skills with an emphasis on Excel.
A*A A A A A A A Ability and desire to learn new computer programs/skills as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS
A*A A A A A A A Little to no travel required, approximately 5% or less, with limited overnight trips;A car and airline travel; hotel sleep accommodation mostly for tradeshows, customer shows, or sales meetings.
