Education, Experience and Certification/License Requirements
Completion of an accredited program in nursing (Masters degree) required. Must possess and maintain in good standing certification from the ANA and an Indiana state registered nurse license. Must maintain current BLS certification
Individuals in the role practice medicine in collaboration with a licensed doctor of medicine or osteopathy. This individual will exercise autonomy in medical decision making and providing a board range of diagnostic and therapeutic services within the clinic. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for primary and specialty care in a medical practice setting. The role of this position is centered on patient care and may include educational, research, and administrative activities. The individual in this position will work in their own clinic with their own patient load. This position does not have any surgical, hospital rounding, or call responsibilities.
