The Medical Assistant job requirements include (but not limited to) medical assistant duties (rooming patients for a provider, obtaining vital signs, reviewing medications, allergies, health history and assisting the provider as needed); administrative duties include (but not limited to) scanning, faxing, answering phones; cross-training for front desk coverage as needed (checking patient's in and out for their appointments in an EMR, collecting patient co-pays and / or past due amounts, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, etc).
