Job Posting for Application Analyst at Central Peninsula Hospital
Aligned with industry practice this role will provide proper planning, training, testing, implementation, support and maintenance services to the organization for the business side of the hospital's operations, including secondary financial and accounting support, materials management and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as well as emerging needs across the revenue cycle areas including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) modules.
High School Diploma/GED
Certificate in Information Services
3 years of experience working in a Healthcare Information Systems setting. (Relevant education may substitute; 5 years combined education / experience is required.)
2 years experience with EMR, PACS, ERP or other healthcare applications.
Agreement to obtain one of the preferred certifications listed below (or others as approved by management) within 24 months of hire or available course offering if not currently in possession:
Certified Professional in Health Information management Systems (CPHIMS)
Certified Professional in Health Information Technology (CPHIT)
Certified Associate in Project Management PACS Certification (PARCA, CIIP, or similar, or system specific, i.e. IBM CAT completion.)
SQL, Crystal, or other Data Analytics/Mining Certification
Others as approved by Application Services Manager
Associate's degree in Information Services, business, or health-related field.
