What are the responsibilities and job description for the HEALTH CAREERS INSTRUCTOR position at Central Tech?
POSITION: Health Careers Instructor
CAMPUS: Drumright
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide effective instruction in Health Careers Certifications necessary to prepare students for employment in business and industry.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Campus Director
SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have good interpersonal relationship skills and utilize good verbal and written communication. Must be able to develop or modify curriculum to meet individual program requirements. Must be a good role model.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three to five years’ recent work experience in the health care industry, at least one year in a long-term care facility. Teaching experience preferred. Experience supervising nurses’ aides helpful.
EDUCATION: Registered Nurse. Bachelor’s degree required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Perform such tasks and assume such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the administration. Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
STARTING DATE: August 1, 2024
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-Month Contract – Certified / Exempt
