Status : Non-Exempt Rate of Pay : $16 - $25 / Hourly
SUMMARY :
Central Valley Fuego FC LLC is seeking a Scoreboard Operator that will work to accurately keep the time, the running score for each event, conduct contests in a professional manner, maintain professional attitude and appearance, and work positively with the Central Valley Fuego FC LLC to maintain a safe environment for all participants in the program.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO) :
Program Area Responsibilities :
Score keep games, leagues, tournaments, and events in a fair and impartial manner to the best of their ability
Requires an in-depth overview of the timing, scoring, record keeping, and familiarity of scoreboard functions
Attend mandatory staff and department meetings
Follow all required staff dress codes
Assist with setup and breakdown of events
Be able to communicate and assist with all tasks provided to you
May be expected to work as scorekeeper and track accurate statistics
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Must possess a high level of organization, initiative and drive.
Natural sense of ownership for duties and deadlines as well as drive for continuous improvement.
Experience functioning in a 24 / 7 operating environment and must be able to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, game days and holidays as required.
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills both written and oral.
Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and seeks feedback.
Ability to problem solve and conduct oneself with poise and professionalism.
Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Interest or experience in sports as an athlete, official, or coach.
Strong understanding of soccer league regulations, anti-doping policies, and anti-corruption measures.
Experience working in a high tempo, high stress environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Professional soccer experience preferred.
High level of integrity and ethical standards.
Ability to handle all weather conditions.
Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a workday / shift. Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.
Requires normal (corrected) vision and hearing.
