The Payroll Associate is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the organization.
This role involves maintaining payroll records, preparing and distributing payroll, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The Payroll Associate will support the payroll team and collaborate with other departments to ensure all payroll activities are handled efficiently and confidentially.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll or related clerical work
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., I-solved).
- Basic understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Payroll Processing Support
- Assist in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
- Data Entry : Accurately enter and update employee payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, and deductions.
- Record Maintenance : Maintain and organize payroll records and files.
- Deductions and Benefits : Assist in calculating and processing deductions for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Reporting : Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed.
- Issue Resolution : Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. BENEFITS :
