Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Traveling Psychologist to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team in Georgia.
Our Travel Program Psychologists are part of an exciting travel team that works between various Department of Corrections facilities, while enjoying the following: outstanding benefits, exceptional compensation, and lodging/meal stipends. Shifts are M-F day shift with no evenings, weekends, holidays or on-call.
The Travel Program Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation and direct services for patients in an assigned facility. The Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients. Enjoy the ability to spend time with your patients without the worry of cancellations or “no-shows”. Our team positions offer freedom from complex, restrictive managed care policies and reimbursement hassles in addition to the ability to work with a clinically rich and diverse patient population.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D, in Psychology from an accredited institution required
- Active clinical psychologist license in Georgia or ability to obtain
- Be able to clear a criminal background check, drug test and NPDB
- Must become or currently be CPR certified
- Experience in a forensic correctional environment preferred
