What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR/ Administrative Assistant position at Century Casinos Inc?

This role performs a wide range of human resources, customer experience, and clerical functions that support the overall success of the casino.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists HR Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard company policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. Refers more complex or confidential questions to the HR Manager or other management, as appropriate.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records, and private conversations at all times.
  • Makes copies, emails, scans, and emails documents, as needed.
  • Assists in conducting new hire orientation, including in-processing and property tours, as needed.
  • Assists with employee training and professional development.
  • Assists in planning and executing special events such as benefits enrollment, property-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, etc.
  • Maintains the inventory of and organizes employee uniforms and supplies.
  • Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Regularly communicates with property Department Heads to provide support as needed.
  • Assists with managing Employee Housing, including questions, work orders, and payments.
  • Cross Trains in all departments to better understand each position/department's needs and skill sets. If appropriate, may fill in for certain positions when necessary.
  • Assists Directors and Department Heads with administrative duties as needed.
  • Assists VP/GM’s scheduling, availability, and relaying of the necessary information. Maintains confidentiality and privacy when appropriate.
  • Assists team members with ADP Access, processes, and/or training, as needed.
  • Other Duties and Tasks as assigned.

Salary : $20 - $22
