Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Customer Service Representative. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support, while also being responsible for various sales and retail activities. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and be dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere in a retail setting.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide demonstrations when necessary.
- Promote and sell products to customers, utilizing strong sales skills.
- Maintain stock levels by receiving and processing shipments, as well as conducting inventory management tasks.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash and credit transactions, and count change accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving complaints and addressing customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and manage stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash register area.
- Work collaboratively with other sales associates and management to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform product demos to promote new products and services.
- Engage with customers in their preferred language, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in basic math and cash handling.
- Experience with operating a cash register and managing stock levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to provide product demos and assist customers with product inquiries.
- Bilingualism with fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
