Software Quality Control Analyst

Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis of Huntsville, AL, a rapidly growing small company, is hiring a Software Quality Control Analyst.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform software quality audits to ensure compliance with project plans, processes, and standards.
• Provide guidance to the program/projects for Quality Control.
• Identify noncompliance issues and monitor the corrective action plan to completion.
• Coordinate and conduct scheduled and unscheduled audits.
• Participate in document peer reviews.
• Participate in milestone phase reviews and weekly team meetings.
• Verify peer review findings were corrected in accordance with standards.
• Maintain the project's Quality Plan.
• Provide weekly status reports on quality activities.
• Monitor all processes for compliance with quality standards.
• Confirm all appropriate quality reviews were conducted prior to the release of deliverables.
• Perform Software QC and QA functions per DO-178C.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• US Citizenship required.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Should have an active secret security clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).
• 4 years of experience in software quality performing audits, maintaining records, and implementing quality processes, plans and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Design and Development Lifecycle.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred:

• Software testing experience is a plus.
• Agile development experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiar with DO-178 standards.
