Summary of the Contract Recruiter:
The Recruiter serves as a business partner to Hiring Managers and Human Resources in comprehensive recruiting efforts. Activities include (but are not limited to) sourcing, interviewing, strategic networking, extensive communication and mediation activities, hiring, onboarding, compliance, and community relations.
Responsibilities/Scope of Work for the Contract Recruiter:
- Manage full life cycle recruiting (sourcing/networking, screening, hiring manager and candidate relationships, offers, and onboarding)
- Gather position requirements from hiring manager and translates it into recruitment strategy to fill open positions
- Provide expertise in recruitment strategy and compliance for hiring manages as they seek to fill positions
- Source applicants by utilizing cold calling, email, online and face-to-face networking to identify talent
- Prepare documents to obtain proper information to evaluate candidate experiences and qualifications
- Evaluate applicant’s skills, knowledge, and abilities through interviews to recommend talent for open positions
- Maintain accurate employment records and creates reports when necessary for management
- Represent the company at community and college functions
- Maintain awareness of new recruitment tools to ensure recruitment efforts are efficient and cost-effective
- Carry out company processes and procedures in a legal and ethical manner
- Lead or support special projects
- Other related duties as assigned based on business need
Qualification Requirements for the Contract Recruiter:
- 2 years relevant exp
- Experience recruiting in the automotive industry with emphasis on engineering, manufacturing, quality, etc.
- Experience with various ATS and recruiting systems, as well as with a variety of job boards ideal
- Willingness to travel at times up to 20% based on business need
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to take appropriate risks and learn from past success and failure
- Demonstrate decision making skills
- Ability to align strategy, culture, and process to create a meaningful work environment
- Drive to understand the current hiring market and be culturally and economically aware of local, regional, and global changes
- Demonstrate critical thinking and creative problem-solving to issues that arise
- Excellent research skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
