As a digital product manager, you will be part of the team that’s evolving our patient and care team-facing application and platform to provide longitudinal care for patients. Your job, in partnership with engineering, is to drive the evolution of our application and platform to deliver multi-condition care solutions for our predominantly Medicare patients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Product Owner for our Patient facing Application and Clinical Platform.
- Write clear user stories that lead to product specifications and requirements for the application and platform.
- Act as an intermediary between technology teams, architecture, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders; building confidence with each that their input is represented in the product roadmap and will be delivered on time and as expected
- Establish and track measurable objectives for the team
- Drive a design thinking approach to develop applications that have an intuitive product experience.
- Responsible for leading the delivery activities associated with the product backlog, engineering, testing, documentation, and problem resolution
- Inform product decisions by balancing user and business stakeholder input; create and execute product roadmaps.
- Work with engineering to drive product team meetings, scrum ceremonies, and business stakeholder interactions
- Solicit input from Architecture, Quality, Regulatory and other functions to deliver well-architected and compliant software in an agile manner
- Manage and communicate product status to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Collecting, tracking, and understanding product analytics and insights to improve products
- Maintain and continuously upgrade her/his knowledge of digital technologies, external competitive landscape, product interconnectivity, system integrations, and business challenges/objectives; capable of learning rapidly to fill any knowledge gaps.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field e.g. Engineering, Computer science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including 2 years devoted to digital product management.
- Knowledge of agile development practices and the ability to implement methodology changes where appropriate to accommodate business or team objectives
- Proven adaptability, comfortable with change, and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment
- Proven experience conceiving and delivering innovative solutions that leverage technology and information (experience in a health care domain is highly desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the full breadth of needs for a digital solution to be brought to market (infrastructure, QA, UA, security, etc.).
