What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Cercan Tile?
The Cercan Tile team is dynamic and growing, and in need of someone who is a self-motivated, hands-on, team player. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate who is familiar with warehouse protocols, responsibilities and safety.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience required along with MI driver's license.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written required.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Familiar with loading and unloading of containers/shipments and related paperwork (BOLs, packing slips etc.)
- Previous experience in a tile warehouse (or related industry) is preferable
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Liase with Purchaser/Management for scheduled shipments.
- Heavy lifting required.
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
- Assist in showroom as required with maintenance and installation of displays.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
