Digital Content Producer (Contract)

We are looking for a Digital Content Producer (Consultant) for a well-known association in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will work closely with the web content and email team to help review and publish web content, produce and review marketing emails, update and publish video and podcast content, optimize and tag assets, and gather and analyze data.

This is a five-month, 40-hour-per-week consulting role with the opportunity to primarily work remotely with occasional work in the association’s Arlington, VA office.

What You’ll Do

• Review and publish web content.
• Working closely with the Web Content Manager, prioritize and schedule web content requests and participate in web projects.
• Interact with stakeholders at all levels across the organization to ensure that needs are understood and addressed.
• Review and maintain website quality by fixing broken links, spelling errors, navigation issues, and addressing other site needs.
• Manage Brightcove video tagging, playlists, and galleries, as well as Rev caption files.
• Upload podcast episodes and transcripts.
• Assist with analytics for web, video, and podcasts.
• Assist with the creation of website and email documentation.
• Assist with the creation and review of marketing and emails.
• Other marketing and administrative duties as assigned.

The Quals You’ll Need

• Three to five years of experience in digital media, including day-to-day work on a website.
• Experience working in content management systems such as WordPress, SiteCore, Drupal, Craft, or Kentico (preferred).
• Basic understanding of HTML.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop), Google Analytics, and project management platforms such as AirTable or Asana (preferred).
• Creative problem solver who enjoys looking for new approaches to tasks
• Organized, proactive, and responsible with the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders across the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred, or commensurate experience.
