Cerner is looking to add a Solution Designer to our Marketing Solutions development team! As a Solution Designer, you will work closely with our Marketing teams to lead requirements gathering conversations, define enhancements to existing software, create/improve current Marketing workflows, lead user acceptance testing and evaluate new technologies. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting system requirements in accordance with Cerner Marketing's functional specifications. To ensure timely delivery, our development teams follow the agile methodology. You will also identify process improvements at the team level to support operations and development ecosystem, provide software release support and mentor and train new associates within your team and/or training programs. You will have the opportunity to work with bleeding edge technologies to support the Marketing teams and Cerner.com as the public web face of Cerner.
This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote
Basic Qualifications
At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
At least 1 year of product design, product testing, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or HCIT solution work experience.
At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, healthcare administration, information technology or related field of study
Expectations
Must live in or around the Kansas City area or near a virtually approved city
Ability to travel up to 40% of time as needed.
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
