Job Description Summary:
Performs tasks and services to provide Federal entities with the application of investigation and analysis techniques to gather and preserve evidence from a particular computing device in a way that is suitable for presentation in a court of law.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Database forensics, analysis and modeling
- Support and perform tasks and services required in combatting cyber forensics, to include the acquisition, chain of custody, and analysis of electronic evidence from computers, mobile devices, and other digital storage media.
- Perform tasks and services required to support requiring offices with the application of investigation and analysis techniques to gather and preserve evidence from a particular computing device in a way that is suitable for presentation in a court of law
- Provide analytical and product evaluative services to analyze cyber evidence. In addition, the contractor shall provide case support to identify and evaluate effective technological methods and services to investigate cybercrimes
- Advises in matters relating to the proper collection, preservation, packaging, and submission of digital and multimedia evidence
- Participates in crime scene evidence collection activities in major field investigations
Required qualifications/skills:
- Active TS Clearance or have a clearance level that is able to be upgraded to the TS level
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 to 7 years of experience in supporting law enforcement and/or Federal agencies with specific investigative competency in Forfeiture, Domestic and Transnational Organized Crime, White Collar Crime, Financial/Money Laundering, Cyber Crimes, Drug, Illicit Trade Finance, or similar area of activity.
- Demonstration of intermediate to expert knowledge of computer forensics, processing, and analysis of electronic data
- A professional certification such as:
- ISFCE CCE - Certified Computer Examiner
- SANS CGFA - Forensic Analyst or GCFE- Forensic Examiner
- ISC(2) –CCFP - Certified Cyber Forensics Professional
Preferred:
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
- CompTIA Linux and CompTIA Server
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

- This is a full-time position with benefits
- Work shall be performed in DC area or remote
