What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enforcement Officer position at CES, LLC?
CES is looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist Underage Purchasers in performing non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted. The inspection is used to establish a retailer’s compliance with federal regulations. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexibility relevant to the individual’s schedule.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Travel with an Underage Purchaser; identify and verify site address provided
· Facilitate and observe undercover buys in coordination with trained Underage Purchasers
· Collect evidence of violations, such as photographs and tobacco products
· Complete compliance check inspection forms, detailing any violations, when applicable
Required qualifications/skills:
- Must maintain employment with the State of South Carolina or be employed by a city/county within South Carolina
- Reliable transportation
- Attention to detail
- Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy
