What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underage Tobacco Purchaser position at CES, LLC?
Computer Evidence Specialists has been selected by the Federal government to serve as the Federal Tobacco Compliance Check vendor in Louisiana. CES inspectors and underage purchasers will perform non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to minors is restricted.
Ideal underage purchasers will be 16 – 20 years old, have a strong work ethic, and have sufficient free time to complete the assigned inspections with the inspector. Purchasers must complete the following forms which will be provided by CES: Parental Release, Medical Release, Underage Purchaser Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement and Commitment to Protect Non-Public Information.
Underage Purchaser Responsibilities:
- Complete short online training course.
- Must be under the age of 20 years and 9 months when performing any compliance check.
- Access to a car is not needed for the underage purchaser.
- Purchaser will not deceive the retailer in any way.
Will dress normally, use valid identification, and will not lie about their age.
- Applicants ages 18-20 will receive a background check
