QUALITY TEAM LEAD
YOUR ROLE
Are you known for your auditing skills? Are you passionate about quality oversight? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to develop, implement and maintain a quality management system.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Perform random sampling inspections in Receiving, Programming, Picking, Shipping and Returns departments.
- Accurately document all inspections results, non-conformities and re-work.
- Open box auditing, evidence collection, data entry and process analysis.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s quality policies, procedures and guidelines. Escalate to management if non-compliance exists.
- Highlight any areas of non-conformity and implement relevant corrective action and process improvements. Use continuous improvement tools to mitigate non-conformance with the customer, which includes team-building sessions with employees for effective input.
- Maintain and update quality system documentation to include quality manual and procedure manual.
- Maintain the Quality Share Point Site for uploading all documents that meet the requirement for the Quality System at CEVA. Use all specified Logs for tracking changes in documentation to meet audit specifications. Create tracking system for documents if needed.
- Responsible for administrative activities, development/monitoring of KPI’s and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
- Create and implement cost savings through LEAN initiatives.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree, preferred. Minimum 2 years of quality experience in a quality distribution or Sequencing Production Facility. Minimum 2 years knowledge of audit control process and procedures. Background in quality with quality program development and focus on quality assurance.
- Credentials: ISO certification, preferred.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook), internet, web-based and job specific related software applications.
- Characteristics: Ability to allocate work assignments to internal auditors for inspecting kits, monitor their performance and balance the workload. Ability to develop and document processes and procedures. High degree of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
