What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Cevian?
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and organized with a desire for self-growth. The position is required to perform varying tasks from modeling in Autodesk Revit, to attending and documenting client meetings, to performing job site assessments and observations, to managing project schedules and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and translate design intent into technical documents utilizing Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam softwares under the supervision of the Project Consultant.
- Review accuracy, completeness, and neatness of work prior to submission to Project Consultant.
- Work with Project Consultant to plan tasks in accordance with the project schedule, and estimate time needed to complete such tasks.
- Provides input, feedback, and updates on project schedules; plans work in accordance with schedule.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of communications with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members via Microsoft Outlook.
- Maintain and update required project documents within firm file structure in Microsoft Sharepoint, including but not limited to: site observations, client standards, equipment research, meeting minutes, schedules, responsibility matrix, Revit models, specifications, issued documents, current set, redlines, RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.
- Attends project meetings (virtually and on-site) with owners, clients, architects, and contractors as needed, and produces meeting minutes for review by Project Consultant utilizing Microsoft Word.
- Coordinates with design team, construction team, utility providers, equipment manufacturers, and local authorities to investigate and gather requirements to be implemented in the design.
- Assists in the development of Technical Specifications utilizing Microsoft Word.
- Attend project job site assessments and observations alongside Project Consultant during construction to monitor progress and observe installed construction; produce observation notes and punch lists utilizing Microsoft Word.
- Aid in the review of construction shop drawings and submittals using Bluebeam.
- Maintains a continued focus on and takes pride in the firm reputation and brand.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and Outlook).
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks, highly organized, and self-motivated.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
- Effective listener with ability to understand needs of team members at all levels.
