Operations Supervisor

• Ensure operational safety is top priority
• Compliance to PPE. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
• Manage day to day activities related to operations to ensure they run smoothly and which include but not limited to:
• Production/Manpower Scheduling/OT management
• Overseeing shipping/receiving activities
• Managing inventory, warehousing and purchasing activities
• Managing daily employee performance including hiring and termination as require
• Coordinate efforts to setup new production capabilities as required while meeting customer needs
• Develop operation procedures as required and ensure compliance to operations procedures
• Work closely with management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
• Solve operations issues to ensure customer order deliver deadlines are met 100% of the time
• Liaison between hourly employees and management to ensure transparent communication is maintained at all times
• Manage relationships with key operations vendors
• Track vendor pricing, rebates and service levels
• Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site. In particular, this includes any issues on-site at client facilities, such as breaking a fence, etc.
• Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
• Inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement
• Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes as required
• Salary will be commensurate based on relevancy to requirements and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Operation Supervision: 3 years (Required)
• Metal processing: 2 years (Preferred)
