Not-for-profit located in DFW looking for a full-time, helpdesk services L1 engineer. In this role, you will be working on a team of engineers to provide IT support for the users at a medical office in the Dallas area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in initial triage of client service requests, assisting the team in assessing impact, urgency, skillset required, and resolution steps.
- Assist clients in in troubleshooting computer and network-related issues.
- Work collectively on IT projects pertaining to solving the problems/needs of the campus.
- Occasionally lift boxes or equipment 50lbs to chest height
- Other duties (not listed here) may arise
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent – degree preferred
- Attention to detail and great time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with both coworkers and customers
- Must be able to calmly deal with the occasional frustrated customer
- Ability to work with little oversight
- Ability to follow instructions and take constructive criticism
- Wear presentable attire and have reliable transportation
- Previous experience with helpdesk support highly regarded.

*Vendor familiarity preferred, but not necessary: Network products: Meraki Ubiquiti Major manufacturers (HP, Dell, Apple, Cisco, etc)
- Customer service soft skills are super-important.
