As a Business Development Manager you will be instrumental in identifying and prioritizing business opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will help execute the company’s business development strategy in Southern California and beyond. An ideal candidate will have some sales experience within a finance-adjacent industry (banking, financial services).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Nurture relationships with both current and prospective clients
  • Identify new opportunities and close deals with a focus on Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
  • Attend professional networking events
  • Maintain client information, leads, and relevant data up to date in our CRM
  • Assisting with coaching and developing new sales and marketing staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years experience in Business Management
  • 2 years experience selling to SMEs
  • Strong oral and written communicator
  • Energetic and motivated, with a high sense of urgency
  • Comfortable in a data-driven, results-oriented organization
  • Ability to show consistency in closing deals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of management consulting and/or accounting services
  • Experience with CRM tools

Here’s what your first year might look like:

  • Within the first 3 days… You will be fully onboarded and set up in company’s administrative systems.
  • Within the first month… You will be trained to successfully follow and implement established company processes and work closely with clients, staff, managers, and directors.
  • Within the first 3 months… You will be able to address and route all client questions coming in effectively and navigate all relationships with partners and staff.
  • Within the first 6 months… You will have responsibility of enough client engagements so that the rest of the team is not overloaded, while leading assigned engagements from start to finish and daily client interaction and management.
  • Within the first year… You will have been proactive to identify business opportunities, and you are regularly offering actionable services to partners.
