You would be involved in the design, implementation, roll-out and support of infrastructure systems, to enable 24/7 HPC.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop systems and services to improve operational performance and efficiency for our software user community
  • Build and manage OnPrem and Cloud based DevOps project pipelines for building, testing, and deploying projects at scale
  • Monitors official builds, code releases and drives infrastructure issues to resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with the Internal development and operations teams to improve data availability through the development and deployment of advanced monitoring systems that drive business insights into potential system issues
  • Maintain and apply your knowledge of current security best-practices, and industry-standard platform tooling
  • Create and maintain integrations with third party systems in Gitlab pipelines for security and features

Essential Requirements

  • 1 years of hands on DevOps experience supplemented by Bachelor’s degree OR 3 years’ software development
  • Experience in support activities, communicating to customers and supporting their requests
  • Deep knowledge of CI\CD process , git,  Linux, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Gitlab including installation, security and admin activities, ability to write pipeline jobs
  • Scripting skills, i.e., Python, Bash, JSON etc.
  • Good understanding about cloud technologies
  • Experience in Microservices development and API design
  • Proficient programming in at least 1 OOP language
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively analyze for potential future issues.

Desired Competencies

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet
  • Familiarity with logging systems like ELK.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
  • Familiarity with build tools such as CMAKE and Maven
  • Knowledge of Security best practices & principles (certificates, encryption, WAF etc.).
  • Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP; DNS; Load Balancers; Network Firewalls with the ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Database Fundamentals: Relational Database Design, SQL Language
  • Application Monitoring Fundamentals
