Position Description
CGI has a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Consulting Services in our East Region. This role is ideal for a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual with business development experience in the public sector to become a NJ State Account Leader.

You must have a deep knowledge working with NJ State procurement processes as it relates to and have deep, senior level relationships within multiple city agencies. You will be working to drive and grow our Information Technology services business. Must have experience selling to or engaging with multiple State of New Jersey agencies.

You should have a strong record of accomplishment of profitable growth along with account expansion and management. You will manage strong delivery SME's and will focus on growing our relationship and portfolio within the State of NJ. Must be currently living in New Jersey.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Expand our portfolio with the government sector within the State of New Jersey.
• Drive Revenue and Profitability.
• Bring deep knowledge and Information Technology services delivery capability, be integrated into the marketplace and be responsible for bringing solutions and thought leadership to our clients, work well in collaborative environments, be highly motivated by delivering excellent services to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Will use and leverage your experience and creativity to design, propose and execute solutions for complex client problems in advanced business and technology environments.
• Lead a team of professionals - both direct reports and via US based onshore delivery centers.
• Manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.
• Contribute to business strategy, budget planning and manage profitability of engagements.
• Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts within the State of New Jersey Public Sector.
• Lead proposals and evolve solution offerings.
• Overall accountability for the winning of competitive proposals.
• Overall accountability of service delivery to our clients.
• Ensure success of engagements using global US based onshore delivery centers and strategic partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
The candidate should possess experience and expertise in the following areas:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in senior level Information Technology Consulting for state and local government clients.
• Deep understanding, knowledge and relationships with the State of New Jersey Public Sector.
• Ability to interact with agency C-Level decision makers.
• A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect; superior conceptual thinking as well as analytical and problem solving skills.
• Be independent, self-starting, and be able to stay calm under the pressures of multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
• Proven record of creating and maintaining business partnerships and relationships.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&Ls, and complex pricing models.
• Business development including strategic sales planning.
• Client engagement management and relationship building.

Education: bachelor's degree required

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $161,400 - $249,600.
