Your future duties and responsibilities:
Main activities:

• Support: Monitoring & bug fixes
• Dev: Implement new features, bug fixing
• Ops: Autonomous to deploy all components
• Work with different teams: Data scientist, Smartwear located in France, North America team, Daimler
• Help the Business on data visualization through PowerBI or Data extraction from Snowflake for excel dashboards

Must be comfortable with deployment and resource management in Kubernetes.
Java Development: Development for production and consumption in Kafka.

Knowledge: Complete understanding and knowledge of I/T industry practices, standards, and concepts. Experience with delivery of I/T systems using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies. Ability to manage multiple, concurrent small to medium sized projects, if needed.

Supervision Received: Works independently under general supervision. Work is reviewed for overall adequacy in meeting objectives.

Leadership: Self-starter. Assists Team leader with project planning. Mentor junior team members when needed.

Problem Solving/Operations/Direct Work Involvement: Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of innovation. Ensures that solutions are effective in meeting organizational objectives. Questions problem definition to address underlying issues.

Client Contacts: Keeps Client leader updated on work progress. Escalates risks and issues proactively to the team leader.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Kafka: Knowledge of Topics.

Snowflake: SQL modeling and Snowflake resources manipulation (Stream, tasks, table, views, stored procedure)
PowerBI: For simple reporting

JavaScript: Snowflake stored procedure is written in Javascript. Basic knowledge of JS is needed

AWS lambda: Emailers are in AWS (code written in JS), so basic knowledge of AWS is a nice to have

Dataiku / python: Nice to have to help debugging with NA Data Scientist & Smartwear Feature team located in Ladoux

Grafana: Nice to have too (knowledge of how to create dashboards)
