CGI is seeking a solid Project Manager to join and contribute to a dynamic and determined team that will be assisting a local Northern California public sector client to successfully transform how they provide services to their Citizens.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Lead and manage the overall project schedule including financials for a State business initiative.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure that the project team meets all CGI committed milestones and timelines for the overall effort. Should be very familiar with MS Project and managing project schedules.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to develop roadmaps and present the roadmap to the Client.
• Escalate issues and risks appropriately to CGI Management team.
• Prior exposure/experience with Cloud migration and AWS is a huge plus.
• Comfortable multi-tasking and tracking multiple activities in parallel.
• Some intangibles that will be key for this role are:
• Remain one step ahead. Plan tasks and schedules. Keep team aware of upcoming tasks and schedules. Be pro-active.
• Collaborate and work across multiple workstreams (Ex: Applications, Operations, and Testing).
• Should be able to form good, collaborative relationships with client and team members.
• Be a solid communicator to Clients and should balance Client requirements with CGI commitments and make sure we handle any challenges appropriately.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Attained higher education degree(s), shall possess current credentials and/or licenses in disciplines relative to the position; and shall have relative work experience in their assigned field for a minimum of five years
• One year experience with project management processes specifically around implementation
• Experience managing project's and diverse project staff
• Demonstrate experience in maintaining clear mechanisms to manage staff and communicate project status with the project team and project stakeholders
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required
• PMP Certification

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $94,500 - 181,800.
