Position Description
CGI is hiring a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Designing and implementing software systems that support data processing, storage, and analysis.
• Building and maintaining data pipelines that ingest, clean, transform, and model data from multiple sources.
• Creating and managing databases, data warehouses, and data lakes that store large volumes of data.
• Developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms that enable predictive analytics and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
• Conducting research and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and software engineering.
• Testing, debugging, and optimizing software systems to ensure they are robust, scalable, and reliable.
• Ensuring data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Documenting software architecture, design decisions, and implementation details to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of data science tools and applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
8 years experience in
• Full stack Development with OCP/Kubernetes
• UI Development (React JS, HTML, CSS)
• Java frameworks
• Relational DB's - Oracle
• Web services (Soap/Restful)
• API Development
• Hands on with Application Servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss)
• Spring boot framework

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59,000 - $156,700."
