CHA has an extensive and competitive Summer Internship Program. Our summer program aims to prepare students for the professional working environment and provide them with the best resources to be successful in their future careers. Over the 8 to 12-week duration of CHA’s summer internship program, our interns participate in authentic learning experiences that help them improve and develop skills.
CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently accepting applications for Human Resources, Information Technology & Marketing Summer Internships to join our Corporate groups at our various office locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources
- Learn and actively participate in the recruiting and hiring process, including: posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting telephone interviews, scheduling in person interviews and pre-employment screenings, and making job offers.
- Assist in the implementation and administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- Participate and support enhancements to employee onboarding and offboarding programs.
- Support rewards and recognition program expansion.
- Assist with the planning, administration and execution of the CHA Principles of Management Training Program.
- Compile and analyze data, prepare reports, and share observations related to various feedback channels (surveys, interview, focus groups, etc.).
Information Technology
- Help with the introduction of new design software and practices at CHA.
- Developing best practices by working directly with technical teams to refine processes and documenting new procedures.
- Providing support to employees via our IT Support Helpdesk.
- Keeping up to date with the latest Cyber Security trends.
- Working directly with the Manager of Design Technology Integration on new initiatives.
- Process Automation/Back Office Automation.
- Establishing new hardware standards for desktops, laptops, and conference rooms.
Marketing
- Edits resumes and project descriptions.
- Updates database records.
- Catalogues images / photography.
- Reviews marketing materials.
- Assists in coordinating various marketing methods including advertising, networking and social media.
- Supports viritual conferences and trade show events.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
Human Resources
- Meet required degree of Human Resources, Business, or related area of study.
- Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited Bachelor or Graduate program.
- Completed two full year of college (rising sophomore).
- Candidates going into their junior or senior year of college are preferred.
- May 2022 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship program.
Information Technology
- Meet required degree of Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Engineering.
- Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited Bachelor or Graduate program.
- Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore).
- Candidates going into their junior or senior year of college are preferred.
- May 2022 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship program.
Marketing
- Meet required degree of Marketing, Business, or related area of study.
- Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited Bachelor or Graduate program.
- Completed two full year of college (rising sophomore).

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Human Resources
- Experience with Microsoft Office required.
- Must have ability to work in a team environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills required.
Information Technology
- Experience with Microsoft Office required.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Must have ability to work in a team environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills required.
Marketing
- Must have a desire to grow our company’s business through innovative marketing ideas.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is also required.
- Database experience a plus.
- Must have the ability to work on a team.
