We are looking for a motivated HR Generalist to join our Chicago team! 👋🏻

Your main role at ChainCargo:

You will take part in running the daily functions of the Human Resources Department in our Chicago office, such as, those relative to Payroll administration, benefits, attendance, recruitment, performing onboarding and offboarding of employees, supporting the implementation of company policies and practices, and resolving issues.

Your main task at ChainCargo:

• You will perform HR administrative tasks and processing/entering date in our HRMS.

• You will efficiently maintain all employee benefit data for medical, dental, vision.
• You will prepare contracts, offer letters and forms.
• You will conducting administrative procedures in relation to Social Security, the tax agency, benefits, etc.
• You will provide support to employees on HR related topics, and ensure an engaging workplace environment.
• You will conduct employee relations investigations and advise management on corrective actions.

• You will Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies.
• You will process employee leave and attendance in the HRMS and payroll system.
• You will maintain employee files such as employment contracts and performance-related documents, as well as other HR files and documentation.
• You will maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• You will conduct new hire onboarding.

• You will develop and implement employee recognition programs.
• You will carry out and coordinate employee offboarding and conduct exit interviews.
• You will participate in the full cycle of the recruitment process.
• You will prepare/generate monthly reports on HR statistics.
• You will coordinate special projects as assigned by the Head of HR.

Who are you:

• You have at least a Bachelor degree in HR or any related field.
• You have at least 2 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or any other relevant HR position.
• You have deep understanding of US employment laws.
• You are fluent in English (any other language could be a plus).
• You feel confident using Microsoft Office.
• You have experience using HRMS and ATS tools.
• You pay strong attention to details and you have excellent organizational skills 🤓
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills 😎
