Job Overview:
· Under supervision you will implement small group instruction for K-8th Grade students in the resource room
· Refer to Individualized Education Plans (IEP) as needed
· Attend IEP meetings with parents and support staff upon request
· Maintain high expectations for student academic success and conduct
· Subscribe to the belief that every student has a natural desire to learn
· Create a positive learning environment for all students
· Reinforce school-wide rules and expectations
· Implement warm-strict discipline techniques
· Collaborate closely with fellow teachers and other staff members
· Differentiate instruction effectively to meet the individual needs of the student

Qualifications:
Possession of a high school diploma; college is a plus.
