ChampionX is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Chain Planning Process and Training Specialist to join the Supply Chain Planning Center of Excellence (CoE) team in Sugar Land, TX. The candidate will be responsible for improving the productivity of our global planning team through effectively developing and executing learning and development programs. As a thought leader in the CoE, the Supply Chain Planning (Demand/Supply) Process and Training Specialist interacts with the global planning community to develop, track, and execute training, and document global processes. The candidate will assess the global planning developmental needs to drive training initiatives as well as change management and will be responsible for helping individuals augment existing skills while building new skills to be productive and improve efficiencies.

What You Will Do:
Develop, distribute, and oversee the learning and development short and long-term strategies for the global Supply and Demand Planning organization to support and meet business needs.
Share best practices and assures consistency of methods across the global planning organization with alignment of the functional leaders and subject matter experts.
Work with the functional leads and human resources team to ensure that the planning learning and development program is providing the global planning employees with essential job knowledge.
Communicate with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, business initiatives and technologies.
Partner with Corporate Training & Development as needed to ensure alignment on training delivery and methodology
Maintain ownership of documentation and standard methodologies for global planning, including policies, business rules, process maps, templates, and workflows
Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate training programs for planning associates; both with external vendors as well as internally lead trainings
Develop and implement new and existing employee training and development programs; modify programs as needed
Obtain and/or develop interactive, innovative, and effective training materials utilizing a variety of materials and technology that translates into high level of enthusiasm and participation. (Including workday, Team’s meetings for remote employees, …)
Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of the development programs through testing, surveys, KPI, etc.
Develop and implement regularly scheduled “Lunch-n-Learn” sessions
Develop an effective “train the trainer" program
Track participation, completion, and performance of the learning and development programs
Work with functional leaders and frontline associates to solicit feedback and collaborate cross-functionally as needed to evaluate training needs, trends, and recommend improvements through the planning organization based on processes, change, and other factors.
Develop and maintain Global Planning Center of Excellence communications such as newsletters, SharePoint site and other methods of communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources as well as process changes and master data management updates.
Provide change management support as needed
Support the development and use of the Global Planning Career Framework, in partnership with the planning leaders and human resources

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, business administration, human resources, communications or related fields or equivalent experience
5 years of work experience in Planning (Supply/Demand), logistics, or manufacturing
Experience with supply chain, stakeholder / change management, transformation
Comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees
Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. Be self-directed and motivated.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Take initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendations for implementation.
Experience dealing with ambiguity and reacting quickly to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Project management experience with follow-through skills and experience driving and leading cross-functional teams toward completion of multiple projects
Lean / Six Sigma, APICS / ISM / SCPro certification
Proven success assessing problem statements and cultivating solutions in ambiguous environments
Expertise at organizing, documenting, and communicating results
Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority
Experience leading cross-functional teams, with success coaching team members
Technical proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Experience of working in a global organization with high growth
Experience working in a fast paced, agile, ambiguous environment
Experience working with or in support of diverse global communities
Previous experience in Training and Development
