Position:
The Content Manager oversees the company’s content strategy from ideation to distribution working closely with the Marketing Director. Plans, creates and distributes content that ensures brand consistency . Continually improves existing content while always on the lookout for content gaps that need filling. Leads and provides guidance to content management team members.
Essential Functions:
Closely examines current content on various platforms to ensure brand consistency in visual identity and messaging.
Reviews and audits competitor content to ensure best practices are being used.
Creates content strategy from ideation to distribution.
Creates and maintains a streamlined content calendar to keep information up to date and keep updates on track.
Performs regular content audits to ensure content is accurate, optimized, updated and relevant to the target audience.
Lead content management team members by providing guidance, feedback and mentorship.
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Delegates and oversees that the quality work of the content management team is being completed within the deadline.
Stays updated on industry trends and integrates innovative design approaches into content.
Reviews and approves all content deliverables to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality.
Works cross functionally to ensure all content project expectations are met.
Assists with marketing efforts as needed.
Ensures that deadlines are met.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field required.
At least 5 years of experience in Graphic Design and/or Marketing.
Proven project management and managerial/leadership experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent proofreading skills.
Excellent creative ideation and innovative skills.
Proven SEO experience and knowledge of optimizing content tailored to specific audiences.
Demonstrated ability to consistently produce targeted content.
Sense of urgency with effective time management and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of interactive design including best practices in technology, usability and user experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to use a strong analytical and artistic approach to solve complex issues.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite or related software
