Essential job functions are:
- Reads and interprets shop drawings to create pattern files ready for installation by locating necessary mounting and electrical holes
- Develops customized and production-ready CNC programs for the various parts and materials needed on each project
- Actively communicates with office and shop personnel to attain proper setup of files
- Delivers efficiently-nested CNC programs which meet quality standards in a timely manner
- Troubleshoots and resolves any issues discovered with patterns and cut parts both during and after production
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the work area
- Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Vocational school or 1-3 years of related work experience preferred (Graphic Design, Production Art, Mechanical Engineering, CNC Programming)
- Practical skills in vector drawing software required (FlexiSign, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator)
- Practical skills in CNC toolpathing software and 3D modeling CAD software highly preferred (EnRoute, Solidworks)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret art, designs, technical drawings, blueprints and models.
- Keen eye for detail and foresight to proof and catch potential issues and errors.
- Strong organizational skills, willingness to adapt to changing priorities of fast-paced work environment, and professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
- Read, write, and speak English
- Self-motivated
- Ability to think outside the box and consider all aspects of the design process.
- Works well in a team and independently
- Able to design or redesign drawings from general written or verbal specifications
- Working knowledge of various measuring tools required
Experience Required:

Working conditions & Physical Requirements
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- May involve some repetitive motions
- To meet with others or to inspect quality of cut parts, will be required to walk into the open environment of the warehouse, which is subject to various weather and temperature conditions, including heat, humidity and cold.
