Designer:

The Designer is responsible for working with the design team to develop design concepts; designing unique creative solutions; collaborating with outside experts and/or freelance support as necessary; and quality tracking their work through the various stages of the design and production process.

The Designer works in teams under the Senior Designers, Design Directors and Creative Directors.

Responsibilities:

• Create original design work on a wide range of projects (identity, print, digital, environmental, etc.)
• Ideate compelling ideas and develop those ideas into tangible design solutions
• Work in teams with Senior Designers and Mid-level Designers to ideate and develop design concepts
• Create logos, identity system, packaging, business application system, collateral, event signage, websites, mobile app
• Work with the Production Designer to create print-ready mechanical files
• Work collaboratively with Creative Directors, Design Directors, Program Managers, Strategists, clients and vendors
• Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion

• Internship and/or 1-3 year experience in a graphic design role, agency or in-house design team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates beautiful and strategic creative solutions
• Solid design fundamentals: typography, composition, color, layout and relentless attention to detail
• Experience in brand building and establishing a brand platform
• Experience in designing for both print and digital
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe CC Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Enthusiasm, drive, passion and a curious mind
