What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Charbonons?
Dishwashers have one of the most important jobs in the hospitality industry. Dishwashers assist in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots/pans, kitchen utensils, etc. This position also aids in upholding state-specific health department standards in the kitchen.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Rinse dirty dishes, glassware, cutlery, kitchen utensils, etc. and place them in appropriate dish racks for processing in the dish machine
· Maintain the dishwasher’s chemical levels to ensure sanitation of dishes. Fill/ empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions for kitchen pots/pans and other utensils as necessary.
· Sweep debris in the kitchen/prep area and mop floors after service and collects and removes kitchen trash
· Some locations use dishwashers for some prep items
· Can be a career path to cook
