What you are good at
- Research and processing cost basis adjustments for Retail and Advisor Services clients
- Option trade reconciliation, return of capital, and cost basis fixed income updates
- Bulk cost basis updates
- Work collaboratively and effectively with others
- Effectively leverage tools and resources
What you have
- Highly motivated and results driven
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for service quality
- Advanced MS Excel skills, ability to work with large data sets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Experience working in financial services industry
- Proven cost basis experience and knowledge framework
- 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of IRS Cost Basis regulations in relation to broker/dealer reporting
- Expertise in cost basis reporting topics, such as impact of return of capital transactions, corporate actions, fixed income amortization/accretion, etc.
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license preferred
