What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cookie Baker position at Charleston Specialty Foods?
Charleston Specialty Foods is hiring an additional full time cookie baker for our well established and family-owned team in West Ashley!
Available schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Bake product(s) according to established recipes
- Package product as required
- Maintain inventory of product and ingredients
- Assist with development of new products
- Clean workspace and equipment in accordance with FDA regulations
Requirements:
- Certificate of completion from accredited Culinary or Baking School/Program OR at least 2 years prior commercial baking experience
- Working knowledge of a commercial bakery and equipment
- Current ServSafe certification
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to stand for long durations of time and lift at least 50lbs.
- Math Proficient
- Flexible, team oriented and fast paced worker
- Stable work history
All candidates must provide a current resume for consideration, be able to pass drug screening/ background check and read/write English fluently.
