Charlotte FC is Major League Soccer's 30th franchise and played its inaugural season in Major League Soccer in 2022. The club set a MLS attendance record in it's opening game with over 74,000 spectators in Bank of America Stadium and has been at the top of MLS in attendance throughout its first two seasons. Charlotte FC is part of Tepper Sports & Entertainment, which also includes the Carolina Panthers and Bank of America Stadium
Summary
The position is based in Charlotte, NC. Charlotte FC is entering its third season in the MLS. Charlotte FC has continued to set attendance records and marks throughout the season. Fresh off their first appearance in the MLS Playoffs in club history, Charlotte FC is looking to add to the match day environment and presentation with a dynamic, fan-facing personality that will add to the excitement on CLTFC matchdays.

Primary Responsibilities
In Stadium
- Perform Play-by-Play of all Pre-Season and Regular Season Charlotte FC games including all Post-Season games as they occur.
- Must be timely and prepared for each match exhibiting extensive knowledge of soccer, Charlotte FC, the MLS, and other opponents.
- Deliver in stadium play-by-play in an exciting and engaging manner.
- Script and voice Charlotte FC matches.
- Record Live and Pre-recorded sponsor mentions and commercials.
- Assist with weekly highlights show as needed (possibly including post-interviews, features, segments, etc.).
- Assist with segments and pre-recorded features.
Sales/Marketing/Affiliate Support
- Attend sales and partnership presentations on occasion.
- Attend match day meetings during the season.
- Brainstorm and work collaboratively with internal Stakeholders re: on-air features, sponsor promotions, marketing campaigns, etc.
Sponsor Events and Fulfillment
- Emcee and/or participate in one to two annual events per year.
- Emcee Club's Partnership-related events as requested.
- Serve as Emcee/host/judge at individual sponsor events/promotions.
- Voice/Appear in sponsored radio and TV commercials.
Non-Sponsor Team Duties (Internal)
- Appear/Emcee/Host various charitable, community engagement, and ticket sales events as needed.
- Perform Voice over work on radio/TV PSAs as requested.
- Emcee other community engagement program events as requested.
- Represent Charlotte FC brand in the community and at Charlotte FC events.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This job typically operates in stadium facility environments.
- Must be able to work in all Charlotte FC matches.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to remain standing/walking for up to 2 hours.
- Ability to remain sitting for up to 4 hours.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, and endure weather conditions including rain, wind, high and low temperatures, etc.
- Must be able to work in non-traditional settings, and work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
