The Role:
A critical role in the launch and development of the LATAM and TR Americas region, the Head of Marketing and Communications oversees all brand and trade marketing activations, local talent and influencer relationships and strategy, and full ownership of marketing and PR spend. Supporting the LATAM Brand Director, this role is responsible for conceptualising and executing the launch and sustain strategy for the brand across all LATAM territories, bringing together disruptive creativity and executional excellence.
Role Accountabilities:
- Lead marketing and communications strategy across all consumer touch points, including clear product strategy, innovation animation, trade marketing, and investment across media channels and retailers
- Define and deliver the media strategy for the region, including measuring media effectiveness and shaping best investment profile
- Build a robust PR & Advocacy strategy, underpinned by authentic brand relationships, and including engagement of the Pro MUA community, relationships with local talent and KOLs, full content strategy across earned and owned social requirements
- In deep partnership with the Head of Commercial, Retail and Education, conceive a launch strategy for each territory and retailer across the region, securing best in class visibility from our partners, and delivering market disruption and record-breaking growth. Own the overall trade marketing negotiation and delivery with all retailers and operators
- Through a strong relationship with the Global Digital team, shape the local social and digital activities, including social investment and digital trade marketing, to optimise recruitment and retention across the region
- Lead and inspire the marketing and communications team in region to deliver bold and daring activation, fostering a culture of collaboration, passion for the brand, drive for results and limitless thinking. Support the personal and professional development of the team, to build their capability and future career pathway within the brand
- Work closely with counterparts in the Global Marketing and Communications teams to optimise global content, events, and opportunities for local amplification
- Oversee and deliver a robust marketing and communications cost budget, delivering activities at best ROAS on time and within agreed budget; work with Finance to meet quarterly forecasting expectations
- Monitor competitor landscape for relevant product, trend, consumer behaviours, and media insights to drive optimisation of local activities and support global
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports to: Brand Director
- Extensive experience leading marketing organization at a beauty or fashion brand
- Marketing knowledge across media - print, digital, social, OOH
- Strong strategic and analytical abilities
- Extensive experience in beauty / lifestyle / fashion / retail marketing
- Interest in trends across popular culture, art, beauty, fashion and film
- Enthusiastic, energetic, team player and thought leader
- Proven track record in brand management and growth
- Strong leadership skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Outstanding leadership/interpersonal skills required
Base Salary Range: $145,000-155,000**
