Operations Medical Assistant
Charlton Morris is excited to be working with a client who is a leader within on-demand public health service programs. From rapid, mass COVID-19 testing sites, to mobile vaccination operations, this client is making a huge impact on local public health services.
To supplement their growth, Charlton Morris is looking for a number of Medical Assistants (both certified and uncertified) to support this client's work on a contract basis.
Position Summary
You will be responsible for collecting COVID-19 samples at multiple sites in the Campbell, San Jose, CA Area. Your work will have a direct impact on local people’s lives by scaling up the availability of COVID-19 tests in the area. The work requires carefully following government regulations and company protocols, excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, keeping meticulous and organized patient files, the ability to work independently and multi-task.
Position Tasks
- Work with the public, educational institutions, nursing/care homes, and organizations, providing Covid-19 Testing, Anterior Nasal and Oral-pharyngeal Swabbing, and PCR testing.
- Working with vaccinated and unvaccinated clients.
- Client will provide all personnel with proper PPEs, kits, and supplies to encourage a safe environment for all.
- Understand guidelines and compliance (HIPPA).
- Weekend work will routinely be available.
Qualifications
- Medical Background required, such as medical assistant graduates, Certified Nursing Associate, Licenced Vocational Nurse, retired nurse, etc.
- Must have reliable personal transportation to get to worksites across San Francisco Bay area. Mileage will be reimbursed.
- Familiar use of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Windows/ Mac computers
- Bilingual skills are preferred in Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese (not mandatory)

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Various client sites across the Campbell, San Jose, CA area (allocated based on your home location)
Duration: 6-12 month contracts (permanent opportunities available thereafter)
Rate: Based on the level of certification and experience - to be discussed with qualified applicants
Work schedule: 7-8 hours p/day, usually 5 days p/week (some weekends may be required)
