Chartboost is hiring a UI Designer with a strong focus on creating exceptional user interfaces while delivering an outstanding user experience. You will be part of the team responsible for the entire platform experience. This team brings product vision to life and drives a customer-first approach process to make sure we are building the right things for our publishers and advertisers.  

Impact you will make:

  • Responsible for creating high-quality UI designs, prototypes, and wireframes that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions, ensuring that the visual interface for our product is visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly.
  • Iterate and refine designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project goals, user requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide necessary support during the development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to continuously improve the user interface and experience.
  • Collaborate with other designers to help build a strong design team and culture.

Who you are:

  • BA degree in a design-related field/or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of proven work experience as a UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in UI design and user-centric thinking.
  • Proficiency with Figma, or the ability to quickly transition to it from other design tools.
  • Strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics is a must.
  • Knowledge of design systems, component-based design, and design thinking methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of visual design principles (color theory, typography, etc ) and UX techniques.
  • Ability to handle end-to-end projects with minimal supervision.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams, soliciting and giving feedback.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong and solid work ethic and high quality standards.

The following experience would be a plus:

  • Experience with Fullstory and Google Analytics.
  • Previous Ad-Tech experience.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000 and $170,000 per year.  

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
